Hi, my name is Maia and I am currently a senior. I am passionate about reading and writing poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. Before moving to ASIJ at the beginning of my sophomore year, I enjoyed the warm people and beaches while living in São Paulo, Brazil for three years. I love exploring the outdoors and staying active through running and hiking in the mountains of Colorado where I grew up. When I’m not at track or cross country practice, I love debating and solving world issues in Model UN.
