Hi, my name is Rui, and I'm a current sophomore. I lived in the U.S. for five years and moved here at the end of 8th grade. This is my first year being a part of Hanabi. My interest in journalism comes from the thrill of writing. I am fascinated by ideas and connections that can only come from writing. It's like a map of constellations of knowledge and ideas through words and sentences. I also enjoy playing video games and running.
